Kangana advised, “Adopt a traditional lifestyle to avoid negativity and depression.”
To those who are young and restless, I would like to say: channel your energy into constructive pursuits and keep an open mind, but adopt a lifestyle that is disciplined or traditional; in this way, you can avoid prison, ennui, negativity, depression, and many other such misfortunes.
MUMBAI:- Renowned actress and politician Kangana Ranaut has shared her latest views regarding the Ketan Agarwal case. Drawing upon a new turn in the investigation, she has conveyed a broad message to young people about life’s purpose, the importance of restraint, and the risks associated with relationships driven by social media.
The actress shared a news report on her Instagram story regarding this incident, which has been a topic of discussion since June. According to the post, investigators discovered that the deceased’s fiancée, Siya Goyal, had married Chetan Chaudhary four months earlier—even while preparations for her wedding to Ketan were still underway.
Kangana Ranaut also posted a lengthy message in which she linked this incident to the aimlessness of today’s generation. She says, “WhatsApp, Instagram, dating apps, benching, ghosting, the tendency to have physical relations with multiple partners, breadcrumbing, the ‘seeing’ or trial phase, filters, stories, drugs, clubs—despite all these things and much more, there is still a sense of emptiness.” Zeal devoid of a goal or purpose often seeks such uncontrolled and self-destructive outlets. Therefore, while having a passion or deep interest in something is important, it should be directed toward your career or a specific skill. To the young and the restless, I would say: channel your energy into constructive paths and keep an open mind, yet adopt a disciplined or traditional lifestyle; in doing so, you can avoid prison, ennui, negativity, depression, and a host of other such calamities.
Regarding this case, towards the end of last month, Kangana argued that parents cannot be held responsible for their children’s actions, noting that Siya’s father, Pravin Goyal, had stated his daughter deserved the severest possible punishment if found guilty.
Kangana says, “These days, when looking at a family, a home, or parents, you can never be certain about a child’s upbringing or moral values; the most important thing is—who is programming them? Who do they spend time with, and what kind of influence do AI, social media, or real-life experiences have on them? Parents cannot be blamed, because people are living multiple parallel lives and carefully constructing a desirable image of themselves—focusing entirely on how they appear rather than on how they feel or who they truly are; therefore, families cannot be judged for their children’s actions.”
