‘Road to Everest’ set to premiere with aim of showcasing Nepal’s Himalayan glory to the world
KATHMANDU:- A grand premiere of the highly anticipated documentary ‘Road to Everest’—produced by the ‘We Will Rise Foundation’—is set to take place on Saturday, August 22.
The organizers have announced that special screenings of the documentary will be held at 2:30 PM in ‘Auditorium 2’ and ‘Auditorium 3’ of QFX Cinemas, located at Chhayadevi Complex in Thamel.
The story of this documentary, completed after a two-year process of research, filming, and production, was written by media professionals Santosh Acharya and Nirmal Shrestha. The primary objective of the documentary is to celebrate the Himalayan pride of Nepal and convey the message of the need to preserve the Himalayas for future generations.
According to Tulsi Kumar Gurung, Chairperson of the ‘We Will Rise Foundation’—an organization active under the ‘We Will Rise’ campaign—this documentary will help showcase various aspects of Nepal’s tourism and the lives of people in the Himalayan region to the world. Extensive preparations have been made for the premiere, and it is believed that this journey will energize Nepali enthusiasts of Mount Everest.
