Nepali-born Bhushan Gauli creates world-class biometric software in US

LOS ANGELES:- Nepali entrepreneur Bhushan Gauli and his team have claimed to have created world-class biometric software. The cutting-edge web-based biometric and fingerprinting software developed under Gauli’s leadership is currently being successfully used in various states in the US.

This is not an ordinary commercial software but a high-tech system that seamlessly integrates with fingerprint scanners, certified printers, and other necessary hardware to securely process biometric data.

The software has been developed by passing the strict technical standards and security certification process required for organizations working with government agencies in the United States.

According to entrepreneur Bhushan Gouli, he came up with the idea of developing his own system after having to rely on expensive software from other companies while running his own business.

After the necessary technical study and design, the software was developed with the active participation of Nepali technicians. It has now been adopted by dozens of immigration lawyers, fingerprinting service providers, mailbox businesses, and mobile fingerprinting service providers across the United States.

It is a great achievement in itself for a Nepali-led team to bring a competitive product to the US fingerprinting market, which is dominated by large and established international companies, and to win the trust of customers. Bhushan Gauli also has experience in developing a smart card and biometric-based social security distribution system in Nepal a decade ago, which was similar to today’s modern digital identification system.

This success has proven that Nepali technicians have a high capacity to develop world-class digital solutions. In the current era of Artificial Intelligence (AI), cybersecurity, digital ID, and cloud technology, Nepali entrepreneurs have moved forward in building their own intellectual property and brands, rather than limiting themselves to service-oriented outsourcing.

This new milestone achieved by the Nepali diaspora sends a clear message to thousands of young people in Nepal: one need not be born in Silicon Valley to develop world-class technology; with the right knowledge, persistence, and self-confidence, Nepalis too can create technology that makes an impact on the global market. Nepalis are no longer merely a workforce providing labor to the world; they are becoming creators who supply technology to the global market.
