Bheri Corridor blocked by landslide reopens

JAJARKOT:- The Jajarkot-Dolpa road section along the Bheri Corridor, which had been blocked by a dry landslide, has reopened.

The District Police Office, Dolpa, reported that the road section—blocked since around 8:30 AM on Sunday following a dry landslide at Chhipredaha in Tripurasundari Municipality-5, Dolpa—is now operational.

According to the police, vehicles entering and leaving Dolpa were stranded at Chhipredaha after transport services were halted due to a dry landslide in the area.

Anilraj Giri, Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) at the District Police Office, Dolpa, stated that a police team deployed from the Area Police Office, Karvagard, coordinated with the concerned authorities to clear the road after it had been blocked by the landslide.

Although the road has reopened, the police have urged passengers and drivers to exercise caution due to the risk of landslides along the route.
