Heavy rain likely in many places in Koshi, Madhes, Bagmati and Gandaki provinces on Thursday
KATHMANDU:- The Department of Hydrology and Meteorology (Weather Forecasting Division) has stated that the country is currently under the partial influence of westerly winds. As a result, there is partial cloud cover in the Himalayan and hilly regions, while the weather in the Terai region remains mainly clear.
This afternoon, there will be partial cloud cover in the Himalayan regions of the country. In the hilly and Terai regions, the weather will remain mainly clear.
Tonight, there will be partial cloud cover in the Himalayan regions of Koshi Province, as well as in the Himalayan regions of Bagmati, Gandaki, and Karnali provinces. In the remaining Himalayan and hilly regions of the country, the weather will remain mainly clear.
On Tuesday afternoon, there will be partial cloud cover in Koshi, Madhesh, and Bagmati provinces. In the remaining parts of the country, the weather will remain mainly clear. There is a possibility of light rain and snowfall in one or two places within the Himalayan region of Koshi Province.
On Tuesday night, there will be partial cloud cover across the country. There is a possibility of light rain in one or two places within the Himalayan and hilly regions of Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces.
On Wednesday, the weather across the country will be generally cloudy. There is a possibility of light rain and snowfall in a few places within the high-altitude (himalayan) regions of Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces. Additionally, light rain is possible in one or two locations within the hilly regions of Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces.
On Thursday, the weather across the country will be generally cloudy. There is a possibility of light to moderate rain and snowfall—accompanied by thunder and lightning—in many places across Koshi, Madhesh, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces; in some places within Lumbini Province; and in a few locations across Karnali and Sudurpaschim provinces. Additionally, heavy rain and snowfall are possible in one or two locations within the Himalayan and hilly regions of Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces, while heavy rain may occur in one or two places within the Terai region of Lumbini Province.
