CIB seizes important dossier from state-run DDC

KATHMANDU:- The Central Investigation Bureau (CIB) of Nepal Police today seized important documents from the state-owned and run Dairy Development Corporation (DDC) in Lainchaur, Kathmandu.

CIB spokesperson, Senior Superintendent of Police Shiva Kumar Shrestha, confirmed that a CIB team took control of some documents for the necessary investigation and said that the matter will come to clarity only after the investigation is completed.

“It is the CIB’s task to apprehend, take things under control, and investigate the matter that has come to our attention. We have taken the documents for investigation; things will be known only after the investigation.”

The state-owned dairy corporation has been running into huge losses for the past few years, leading to a failure to pay millions of rupees to the dairy farmers that have supplied it with their produce.
