President appoints Chief Election Commissioner and Commissioners

KATHMANDU:- President Ramchandra Paudel has appointed Chief Election Commissioner and two commissioners on the recommendation of the Constitutional Council.   

According to the statement issued by the President’s Office today, Man Bahadur Karki of Morang has been appointed as the Chief Election Commissioner on the recommendation of the Constitutional Council in accordance with Article 145 (2) of the Constitution.

Likewise, Guru Prasad Wagle of Okhaldhunga and Dr Rajib Subba of Kathmandu have been appointed as election commissioners, reads a statement issued by spokesperson at the President’s Office, Ritesh Kumar Shakya.(RSS)
