Nepali team to travel to Bhutan to participate in Kabha Beach Volleyball
KATHMANDU:- The Nepali team is set to travel to Thimphu, Bhutan, on Wednesday to participate in the CAVA Beach Volleyball tournament. Two men’s teams and two women’s teams from Nepal will compete in the event, which runs from Bhadra 19 to 21.
In the men’s category, the pairs of Mahendra Shrestha and Rajkumar Niraula, as well as Jhaman Singh Darji and Sharan Karki, will compete. In the women’s category, the pairs of Kamala Pun and Kopila Rana, along with Sunita Rai and Bhawana Dangi, will participate.
Shriram Bogati serves as the team’s coach, while Jitendra Shrestha is the manager. National Sports Council Member-Secretary Ramcharitra Mehta, Nepal Volleyball Association President Jitendra Chand, and others bade farewell to the team at a program on Tuesday, wishing them success.
