Lumbini Lions and Biratnagar Kings set to clash in NPL second qualifier

KATHMANDU:- Lumbini Lions and Biratnagar Kings will face off in the second qualifier of the ongoing Nepal Premier League (NPL) today at the Tribhuvan International Cricket Stadium, with the match scheduled to begin at 4:00 PM.

Biratnagar earned their spot in the second qualifier after being defeated by Sudurpaschim Royals by 77 runs in the first qualifier. Meanwhile, Lumbini secured their place after a hard-fought 4-wicket victory over Kathmandu Gorkhas in the Eliminator.

In their earlier encounter during the league stage, Lumbini had defeated Biratnagar by 5 wickets. Today’s match is crucial for both teams, as the winner will advance to the final, where they will face Sudurpaschim Royals for the title. The final match will take place on Saturday.

This high-stakes clash promises to be an exciting contest as both teams battle for a spot in the grand finale of the NPL.
