Nepali athlete Rachana Silwal wins silver medal at GAMMA

KATHMANDU:- Nepali athlete Rachana Silwal has won a silver medal at the GAMMA Asian Championship. She secured the silver in the U-16 female under-46 kg category at the tournament organized by the Malaysia Mixed Martial Arts Association.

Nepali athletes also won two additional bronze medals at the event held in Putrajaya, Malaysia. Prakriti Rai (U-16 female under-42 kg) and Alis Bomjan (U-18 male under-60 kg) clinched the bronze medals.

Rajiv Maharjan, President of the Martial Arts Organization Nepal and a GAMMA Nepal referee, served as a judge in the competition.

GAMMA Nepal President Binod Maharjan, coaches Umesh Maharjan and Raj Maharjan, and match manager Sagar Chitrakar also participated in the competition.
