Jai Nagar-Janakpur train service resumed

DHANUSHA:- Train services on the Jayanagar-Janakpur route, which had been suspended following a curfew order in Dhanusha, resumed on Sunday.

The service restarted today after the District Administration Office, Dhanusha, lifted the curfew and issued a prohibitory order instead.

Ajay Kumar Singh, the Acting Administration Chief of Nepal Railway Company Limited, stated that train services on the Jayanagar-Janakpur-Bhangaha section have been operating regularly since Sunday, starting from Jayanagar at 10:00 AM in accordance with the company’s pre-scheduled timetable.

On Friday, Nepal Railway Company Limited issued a notice stating that train services on the Jayanagar-Janakpur-Bhangaha section would remain suspended as long as the curfew order was in effect.

Train operations resumed today, the day after the local administration lifted the curfew order on Saturday.
