Golbazar in Siraha tense; Ganesh Yadav dies during protests
Ganesh Yadav, the 15-year-old son of Rambriksha Yadav from Tulsipur, Aurahi Rural Municipality-2, died after being shot during a clash that occurred amidst prohibitory orders.
SIRAHA:- The fire that broke out in the Siraha Super Market (AB Mall) building, located on the East-West Highway in Golbazar, Siraha, has not yet been brought under control.
Protesters set fire to the building, which had been closed for the past few years due to financial difficulties. Following an incident in Sunsari, protesters engaged in vandalism and demonstrations from early Thursday morning, prompting the District Security Committee to impose an indefinite prohibitory order starting at 2:00 PM.

The situation had become increasingly tense and spiraled out of control after more than a dozen motorcycles were set on fire in the Golbazar area.
Meanwhile, after protesters began vandalizing various shops in the urban area of Lahan Municipality, the local administration issued a prohibitory order to prevent further damage. Most of the youths participating in the protest were under the age of 25; dressed in black and carrying sticks, they behaved aggressively while chanting slogans.
Chetraj Baral, Assistant Chief District Officer of the District Administration Office, Siraha, stated that a comprehensive and detailed account of the incident is being gathered and will be made public as soon as further information becomes available.
