Curfew Imposed In Janakpurdham

JANAKPUR:- A curfew has been clamped in Janakpurdham and its vicinity to control hooliganism and maintain peace and order.

The Dhanusha district administration office has stated that the prohibitory order has been imposed in view of latest security situation in the district and in line with the Local Administration Act, 2028 and as per the decision of the district security committee.

Prem Prasad Luitel, chief district officer, Dhanusha, said the curfew imposed from 3:30 pm on Thursday, July 30, will be in force until another notice.

The curfew order was issued after demonstrators became active in the district since Thursday morning.
