Possibility of in hilly and mountainous regions tonight
KATHMANDU:- The Department of Hydrology and Meteorology’s Weather Forecasting Division has stated that there is a possibility of heavy rain tonight in one or two places across the hilly and mountainous regions of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, and Karnali provinces.
According to the Division, the weather is currently generally cloudy across most parts of the country and partly cloudy in the remaining areas. Moderate rain is occurring in some places within Koshi, Bagmati, and Karnali provinces, as well as in a few locations across Gandaki, Lumbini, and Sudurpaschim provinces.
Generally cloudy conditions are expected across the country tomorrow (Thursday) and the day after (Friday). The Department has stated that there is a possibility of light to moderate rain accompanied by thunder and lightning in some places within the mountainous and hilly regions over these two days.
Tomorrow, Thursday, there is a possibility of heavy rain in one or two places within the hilly regions of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, Lumbini, and Karnali provinces.
Similarly, the department has stated that there is a possibility of heavy rain in one or two places across the hilly and mountainous regions of Bagmati and Gandaki provinces, as well as the hilly regions of Lumbini and Karnali provinces, on Friday.
