Portugal resonated with music of ‘1974 AD’ during their first concert in Europe

PORTUGAL:-  The Nepali rock band 1974 AD has performed in Portugal for the first time. More than 1,500 people attended the event held in Lisbon, which served as the opening concert of their ‘Rock Yatra’ European tour.

“This is 1974 AD’s first performance in Portugal. We are thrilled to have the support of 1,500 audience members at the very first show,” said the band’s manager, Anuj Karki.

According to him, the aim of the ‘Rock Yatra’ is to connect Nepalis scattered across the globe through Nepali music. He stated that the tour, which began in Portugal, will extend to various other European countries.

Following Portugal, the band is scheduled to perform in Denmark on August 8, France on August 9, Poland on August 15, Malta on August 20, and Belgium on August 23.

Similarly, it has been announced that 1974 AD will perform in various locations across Europe in collaboration with ‘Eye Poppers’.

The band currently consists of Nirakar Yakthumba, Sanjay Shrestha, Adrian Pradhan, Phiroj Shyangden, Manoj Kumar KC, and Manoj Singh.
