Rita Tamang wins ‘Mrs. Beautiful’ title
KATHMANDU:- Rita Tamang won the title of ‘Mrs. Nepal’ at the ‘Miss and Mrs. Beautiful Nepal’ pageant held on Saturday. Along with the main title, she also secured the titles of Mrs. Photogenic, Mrs. Talent, and Mrs. Best Walk.
Rita Tamang, a professional beautician, runs her own beauty parlor in Kathmandu. Active in the beauty industry, she showcased her professional experience, self-confidence, and talent on the competition stage, ultimately winning titles in four categories.
The competition, held under the chief guestship of National Assembly Vice-Chairperson Lila Kumari Bhandari, was also attended by veteran actor Shiva Shrestha, veteran actress Tripti Nadkar, and veteran singer Anand Karki. The event was organized by Dakshya International Pvt. Ltd.
After winning the title, Tamang expressed her immense happiness, pride, and emotion, noting that the ‘Mrs. Nepal’ title has instilled in her a sense of new responsibility and enthusiasm, while inspiring her to excel further.
She expressed her belief that such pageants—which showcase art, beauty, talent, and self-confidence on a single platform—not only provide Nepali women with the opportunity to display their talents but also open doors to new identities and possibilities.
In the competition, Mandira Acharya was declared the first runner-up, Gita Budhathoki the second runner-up, Srijana Ghimire the third runner-up, and Rita Katuwal the fourth runner-up. Srijana Ghimire won the Viewer’s Choice Award. Additionally, Tekraj Pandey, Chairman of the organizing company Dakshya International Pvt. Ltd., announced that Samiksha Sharma emerged as the winner of the ‘Miss Nepal’ title.
In the ‘Miss Nepal’ category, Tara Kumari Dulal was declared the first runner-up, Nisha Rajbahak the second runner-up, and Sanjina Chaudhary the third runner-up. Chanda Pun of Cute Care served as the competition’s official makeup artist, while Ashwin Jha was the choreographer.
