Light rain with lightning likely in some places in Bagmati and Gandaki provinces
KATHMANDU:- Currently, there is a partial influence of westerly winds across the country. According to the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology, this has resulted in partly cloudy conditions in the Himalayan and hilly regions, while the weather in the Terai region remains mainly clear.
In the coming period, the Himalayan and hilly regions of the country will remain partly cloudy. Partial cloudiness is also expected in the Terai areas of Madhesh Province, as well as in the Terai regions of Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces. Meanwhile, the weather in the Terai regions of Lumbini and Sudurpaschim provinces is expected to remain mainly clear.
The weather will be affected in some places across the country’s Himalayan region, as well as in the hilly areas of Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces.
According to the Department, light rain accompanied by thunder and lightning is expected in one or two locations within the Himalayan region and the hilly areas of Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces. Additionally, there is a possibility of snowfall in one or two places within these same areas.
