Gold price rose, Silver price fell in Nepal’s market on Thursday
KATHMANDU:- The price of gold has risen slightly in the local market today, while the price of silver has fallen. Compared to yesterday (Wednesday), the price of gold has increased by Rs 800 per tola, whereas the price of silver has decreased by Rs 10.
According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, the price of fine gold (chhapawal) has been set at Rs 284,000 per tola today, and the price for the same quantity of silver stands at Rs 4,310.
Yesterday, the price of fine gold was set at Rs 283,200 per tola, while the price for the same quantity of silver was fixed at Rs 4,320. Last Tuesday, the price of fine gold was Rs 284,200 per tola, and the price of the same quantity of the white metal was determined to be Rs 4,310.
According to international media reports, gold is currently trading at $4,076 per ounce and silver at $57 per ounce in the international market.
