US ready to provide necessary assistance to Nepal facing natural disasters
WASHINGTON:- US Secretary of State Marco Rubio has expressed solidarity with Nepal and pledged assistance following a natural disaster—triggered by a massive avalanche and rockslide at the Nepal-China border and subsequent severe flooding on Wednesday—that has left at least 160 people dead and thousands missing.

Sudden floods and landslides have caused extensive damage to the water flow systems of the Lhende Khola and Bhote Koshi rivers. The floods have swept away houses, bridges, and other physical infrastructure. It is reported that dozens of foreign tourists from various countries—including a US citizen—are among the missing.
US officials have expressed support for Nepal through social media and official channels, stating their readiness to provide humanitarian assistance. Additionally, US citizens in the affected areas have been urged to exercise caution and stay informed through emergency updates.
