Nepali Congress 15th General Convention to be held from October 2-5

The schedule entails holding conventions in all 6,743 wards on Bhadra 24, (September 9); rural/municipal conventions on Bhadra 27 , (September 12); provincial assembly regional conventions on Bhadra 31; district conventions for single-constituency districts on Ashwin 3, (September 19); district conventions on Ashwin 7 (September 24; provincial conventions on Ashwin 10; and the central general convention from Ashwin 16 to 19, (October 2-5).

KATHMANDU:-The ward-level conventions under the Nepali Congress’s 15th General Convention are set to begin on Bhadra 24, (September 9).

Prem Bahadur Khadka, Coordinator of the Congress Central Election Committee, released the election schedule for the 15th General Convention today.

According to the Election Committee, the schedule includes: orientation for election representatives from Bhadra 2 to 10, (August 18-25); deployment of election officers to districts on Bhadra 11, (August 27); deployment of election representatives to wards on Bhadra 15; orientation training in wards from Bhadra 16 to 20, (September 1-5); and the completion of conventions for the remaining public relations committees by the end of Bhadra.

According to the Election Committee, conventions of Public Relations Committees in 15 countries—including the United States, Japan, France, and South Korea—have been concluded so far.
