Actress Gaumaya Gurung settles down in UK after failing in modeling and film roles
KATHMANDU:- After failing to make a mark in acting, actress Gaumaya Gurung has tied the knot. She married her partner, Diwas, in the UK a few days ago. The wedding ceremony, conducted according to Gurung traditions, was attended by a limited number of family members from both sides. Gaumaya shared photos of the wedding on social media on Tuesday.
Announcing that she has tied the knot, she said, “I married my life partner, Diwas, in the presence of family and loved ones.” Artists such as Swastima Khadka, Shweta Khadka, Miruna Magar, Nazir Hussain, Nikita Chandak, Upasana Singh Thakuri, Malika Mahat, and Sonam Topden have commented on her post to offer their congratulations.
Gau Maya, regarded as an accomplished actor, began her acting journey with the acclaimed British-American television miniseries *Black Narcissus*. Having gained widespread recognition among audiences through *Kabaddi 4*, she has appeared in films such as ‘1915: Legend of the Gurkhas’, *Phoolbari*, *Mahajatra*, ‘Puja, Sir’, ‘Shape of Momo’, and ‘Ramita ko Pirati’.
