President Paudel expresses concern to PM Shah over precarious security situation
KATHMANDU:- Kathmandu. President Ramchandra Paudel has inquired with Prime Minister Balendra Shah about the challenging security situation that has developed in various parts of the country.
The President’s Press Advisor, Kiran Pokharel, stated that President Paudel summoned Prime Minister Shah to Sheetal Niwas on Thursday to express concern over recent violent incidents and to receive an update on the state of peace and security.
During the meeting, Prime Minister Shah briefed the President on the government’s efforts to maintain peace and order.
On the occasion, President Paudel advised taking all stakeholders—including political parties—along to calm the current situation with restraint and to maintain social harmony.
