US Chargé d’affaires pays courtesy call on Minister Khanal
KATHMANDU:- Newly appointed Chargé d’affaires of the United States of America to Nepal, Megan Bouldin, has paid a courtesy call on Foreign Minister Shisir Khanal.
During the meeting held at Foreign Ministry today, she paid tributes to those who lost their lives in Bhotekoshi flood, sharing the US government has solidarity towards the government of Nepal and Nepali citizens during this difficult hour.
The Chargé d’affaires opined that the US government was ready to support Nepal in its relief, rehabilitation and reconstruction efforts in the situation surfaced after the flood.
Similarly, Minister Khanal extended gratitude towards the US government and the people for their solidarity and support to Nepal during this difficult hour.
He expressed the belief that the US government would continue its support for Nepal till reconstruction phase after relief and rehabilitation.
