Nepali film Pensan Patta’s song ‘Juni Jala’ released
KATHMANDU:- The first song, “Juni Jala,” from the Nepali film *Pensan Patta*—directed by Maotse Gurung—has been released.
The song features captivating performances by actors Dayahang Rai, Buddhi Tamang, Wilson Bikram Rai, Gaumaya Gurung, and Maotse Gurung, among others; the film is set to be released on Bhadra 26, September 11).
The song, which artistically showcases the cultural setting, traditional attire, and distinctive lifestyle of the Gurung community, is expected to hold a special appeal for the audience.
It features lyrics by Harka Saud and music by Manoj Thapa Magar, with vocals by Sarun Gurung, Raj Bahadur Gurung, Usha Gurung, and Priya Gurung. The choreography was done by Kamal Bahadur Gurung.
“Juni Jaala” portrays themes of love, devotion, and the commitment to a lifelong union within an authentic setting adorned with Gurung cultural elements. The song brings the local lifestyle, natural beauty, and rural atmosphere to life. It effectively reflects the film’s core narrative, the characters’ life journeys, family relationships, struggles, and the village environment.
According to director Maotse Gurung, ‘Pensan Patta’ is a story about the struggle to achieve life’s goals, centering on hope, perseverance, and human emotion.
The film also features performances by actors including Pushkar Gurung, Pashupati Rai, the late Sunil Thapa, Sol Gurung, Manoj Gurung, Anusha Rai, and Lunibha Tuladhar.
