Prayasna Gurung wins Miss Universe title
KATHMANDU:- Prayasna Gurung has won the title of Miss Universe Nepal 2026. She secured the top title by outperforming 14 other contestants in the event held on Sunday evening.
Similarly, Binita Oli clinched the title of Miss Earth Nepal 2026. Former Miss Universe India and Bollywood actress Celina Jaitly served as the chief judge for the final competition. Gurung is a Non-Resident Nepali based in the UK.
She has been running a women’s empowerment program called ‘The Dignity’. It is also reported that Miss Earth Nepal Oli has experience working as an international flight attendant.
For a long time, ‘The Hidden Treasure’—the organization behind ‘Miss Nepal’—had been organizing the ‘Miss Earth’ pageant. The organization had stepped away from hosting it a few years ago; however, it has now organized ‘Miss Earth’ again, having secured the license for ‘Miss Universe Nepal.’
