Popular Indian rapper Badshah and actress Isha Rikhi announce divorce
MUMBAI:- Popular Indian rapper Badshah and Punjabi actress Isha Rikhi confirmed their divorce on Monday night, putting an end to long-standing speculation about their relationship.
The couple, who had married in a private ceremony last March, announced the divorce by issuing a joint statement via their respective Instagram Stories.
“I and Isha Rikhi have mutually decided to separate and move forward on our own paths. This decision has been made with mutual respect, and we request everyone to respect our privacy at this time.
“This will be our final statement on the matter. We humbly request that there be no further speculation or conjecture regarding our relationship,” Badshah wrote on his Instagram.
In July, speculation began on social media regarding the ups and downs in the relationship between Badshah and Isha Rikhi.
“Every storm is a lesson. Every prayer is a hope,” she wrote in the caption of the post, accompanying it with a ‘broken heart’ emoji and a ‘folded hands’ emoji; this led many social media users to wonder if there was trouble in their relationship.
Isha Rikhi had confirmed her marriage to Badshah during an Instagram ‘Ask Me Anything’ session in June.
This announcement of separation comes amidst ongoing speculation that Isha Rikhi might participate as a contestant in ‘Bigg Boss 20’, hosted by Salman Khan.
Badshah was previously married to Jasmine Masih. They separated, and their divorce proceedings were finalized in 2020. They have a daughter named Jessemy Grace Masih Singh, who was born in January 2017.
