Nepalis in South Korea hold interaction program with RSP MPs Deepak Bohara and Basumaya Tamang
SEOUL:- The South Korea chapter of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP)’s Expatriate Nepali Liaison Department organized an interaction program between expatriate Nepalis and Members of the House of Representatives Deepak Bohara and Basumaya Tamang.
Participants at the event shared their views on the challenges of foreign employment, labor rights, government services and facilities, and the contributions of expatriate Nepalis.
Nepalis from various professions and sectors participated in an event held in the Jongno district of Seoul. During the program, participants shared their views on challenges faced during overseas employment, labor rights, government services and facilities, issues related to Nepal, and the contributions of the Nepali diaspora.
After listening to the queries, suggestions, and grievances raised by the participants, the two lawmakers pledged to convey these matters to the concerned authorities and take initiatives for their resolution. Emphasizing the need for continuous dialogue and collaboration with Nepalis abroad, they expressed the view that the experiences of the diaspora community are crucial for policymaking.
According to the organizers, participants expressed the belief that this program—centered on a Q&A session and open discussion—would help further strengthen the relationship between the Nepali diaspora and Nepal’s political leadership.
