‘Mrs. Nepal World’ 2026 Announced; Selection Process Begins on August 8
The main winner of the competition will receive the ‘Mrs. Nepal World’ crown and the opportunity to represent Nepal at the ‘Mrs. World’ pageant in the United States. Similarly, other winners will compete on international platforms holding the titles of ‘Mrs. Nepal International’ and ‘Mrs. Nepal Cosmo’.
KATHMANDU:- The 2026 edition of ‘Mrs. Nepal World’—a beauty pageant dedicated to showcasing the capabilities of married women and fostering their empowerment—has been officially announced. According to the organizers, applications for ‘Mrs. Nepal World’ 2026 are now open, and the selection process will begin on August 8.
Married, divorced, or single women aged 21 to 50 are eligible to participate in the competition. The main winner will represent Nepal at the ‘Mrs. World’ pageant held in the United States.
The organizer, Ribbon Entertainment, announced at a press conference in Kathmandu that applications for the competition are now open and the selection process will begin on August 8.
This competition, which has been held continuously since 2014, has incorporated the ‘Mrs. Cosmo’ category as an international franchise starting this year. The organizers announced that this category has been added—as the official Nepali franchise of Mrs. Cosmo Myanmar—beginning with this edition.
According to Nishukant Jha, President and Pageant Director of the organizing body Ribbon Entertainment, the first round of auditions for the competition will be held on August 8, starting at 12:30 PM, at the Arya International Hotel in New Baneshwor. The grand finale of the competition is scheduled for October 31.
Speaking at the event, National Director and Choreographer Ashwini Kanta Jha stated that a woman’s dreams do not end after marriage and that this platform serves as a bridge to help them establish a new identity. He also informed that the selected contestants would receive specialized training from national and international trainers over a period of 45 days.
At the event, Raksha Panta (an IT engineer), winner of Mrs. Nepal World 2025, and Sanju Bhatta (a pathologist), winner of Mrs. Nepal International 2025, shared their experiences and highlighted the significant role this platform plays in building self-confidence and fostering personality development. It has been announced that the selection process will also be conducted in cities outside Kathmandu, such as Pokhara, Itahari, and Biratnagar.
