Ganga Sonam wins title of Nepal Idol Season-6

LALITPUR:- Ganga Sonam was declared the winner of the Nepal Idol Season-6.

In a grand finale on Sunday evening, Sonam won the title by leaving behind four other competitors in the singing reality show. With the title, Sonam received Rs 2.5 million in cash. Likewise, Babita Thapamagar was declared the first runner-up, Darshana Gandhari the second runner-up up while Abhinaya Khati and Milan Manandhar secured the fourth and fifth positions, respectively.

Minister for Communications and Information Technology Prithvi Subba Gurung distributed the prize and award to the winners. “Nepal Idol is a homegrown product from the country. After the commencement of this singing competition, other new competitions too have come up,” Minister Gurung added.

Mayor of Lalitpur Metropolitan City Chiribabu Maharjan, former minister Sher Bahadur Tamang and other guests were present at the event.
