Discussions to make air flights in Karnali more effective
KATHMANDU:- An in-depth discussion has taken place among stakeholders regarding the challenges facing air transport services in Karnali Province and potential solutions to address them.
The discussion involved the Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation, Khadakraj Paudel ‘Ganesh’; the Minister for Industry, Tourism, Forest and Environment of Karnali Province; secretaries and joint secretaries from the relevant ministries; the Director General of the Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN); and private airline operators that provide air services in the hilly regions of Karnali.
The discussion focused on identifying the challenges encountered in operating air services in the hilly regions of Karnali Province, exploring ways to make the services more effective, and deliberating on potential solutions.
