Possibility of heavy rainfall in the mountainous and hilly regions of Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces

KATHMANDU:- The Department of Hydrology and Meteorology has stated that the country is currently under the influence of monsoon winds. The monsoon trough is positioned north of its normal location.

As a result, the weather across the country is generally cloudy. Light to moderate rain is occurring in a few places across Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, Lumbini, Karnali, and Sudurpaschim provinces.

Generally cloudy conditions will prevail across the country this afternoon. There is a possibility of light to moderate rain accompanied by lightning in some places in the Himalayan region and many places in the hilly region.

Light to moderate rain accompanied by lightning is also likely in many places across the Terai regions of Lumbini and Sudurpaschim provinces, some places in the Terai regions of Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces, and a few places in Madhesh Province.

There is a possibility of heavy rainfall in one or two places across the mountainous and hilly regions of Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces; the hilly regions of Karnali Province; and the hilly and Terai regions of Lumbini and Sudurpaschim provinces.

Generally cloudy conditions will prevail across the country tonight. There is a possibility of light to moderate rain accompanied by lightning in some places within the mountainous regions of Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces, and in a few places within the mountainous regions of Lumbini, Karnali, and Sudurpaschim provinces.

There is a possibility of light to moderate rain accompanied by lightning in many places across the hilly regions of Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces, and in some places across the hilly regions of Lumbini, Karnali, and Sudurpaschim provinces.

There is also a possibility of light to moderate rain accompanied by lightning in many places across the Terai regions of Madhesh and Koshi provinces, and in some places across the Terai regions of Bagmati, Gandaki, Lumbini, and Sudurpaschim provinces.

The department has stated that there is a possibility of heavy rain in one or two places across the hilly regions of Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces, as well as the Terai regions of Koshi, Lumbini, and Sudurpaschim provinces.
