Nepali Business Association Spain formed under chairmanship of Ramesh Prasad Niraula
By Dinesh Giri, BARCELONA:- The Nepali community running small businesses in Spain, while seeking opportunities for economic prosperity, has formed the ‘Nepali Business Association Spain’ under the leadership of Ramesh Prasad Niraula.
This initiative, which began with Nepali entrepreneurs in Belgium, is now expanding to other European countries. Following extensive discussions, coordination, and effort, the Nepali business community in Spain established the 11-member Nepali Business Association Spain on Thursday.
The Nepali Business Association Spain includes Mukunda Lamichhane and Shital Bhurtel Bhusal as Vice-Presidents, Krishna Prasad Marasini as General Secretary, Kiran Chalise Sharma (Prakash) as Treasurer, and Dinesh Giri, Shivraj Sigdel, Himlal Gautam, Durga Acharya, Pujan Timalsina, Yam Prasad Gurung, and Shiva Prasad Bhattarai as members.
According to the Nepali Business Association Spain, the objective for the future is to form a more organized executive committee that encompasses Nepali businesspeople across various regions and major cities of Spain, ensuring inclusive, balanced, and sectoral representation.
According to Ramesh Prasad Niraula, President of the newly formed Nepali Entrepreneurs Association, the organization aims to unite Nepali entrepreneurs operating across various sectors in Spain under a common platform, focusing on mutual cooperation, the exchange of experiences and opportunities, the protection of business interests, and the economic and social advancement of the Nepali community.
