Traffic resumes on BP Highway

BANEPA:- Traffic on the BP Highway, which was disrupted by the incessant rainfall, has resumed.

According to information officer at the District Police Office, Rabin Bista, the mudslide obstructed the highway near Pinthalibensi in Roshi Rural Municipality-9, Kavrepalanchok.

According to him, the mudflow occurred on a section of the under-construction road between Narke and Pinthalibensi.

The mud and debris were cleared from the site with a help of a dozer. The public have urged to travel cautiously, warning that the continuous rainfall may trigger further landslides and obstruct other sections of the highway. (RSS)
