45 players in preliminary selection for ISF Football World Cup
KATHMANDU:- The Nepal School Sports Federation (NSSF) released the list of 45 players shortlisted for the ISF Football World Cup on Thursday.
NSSF General Secretary Rajkumar Karki stated that these 45 players were selected from among the participants of the selection tournament held in Chyasal on Wednesday. According to General Secretary Karki, approximately 300 players took part in the selection process.
The players selected for the preliminary round include Ivanratna Tuladhar, Manav Subba, Aarav Shrestha, Agrimjang Singh Basnet, Josan Moktan, Prashant Meyangbo, Riwaj Gurung, Sagar Bahadur Shrestha, Samyog Rai, Suyas Paudel, Anshuman KC, Bhavishya Shah, Sivans Bhattarai, Aakrishta Mahat, Ashish Pandey, Deep Khatri, Krishna Gurung, Rohan Ghising, Himal Thing, Rubin Johan Gurung, Krischal Thapa, Abhishek Kumar Patel, and Anil ID.
Others include Dipesh Bohara, Isaac Shahi, Krayesh Sapkota, Kusum Prasai, Mandip Dhungel, Maulik Thapa Magar, Newson Khadgi, Nisan Tamang, Nibhan Bade, Sabin Thapa Magar, Sachit Gangal, Sagar Shrestha, Sahil Rai Thapa, Samir Tamang, Sujan Syangtan, Suman Rokaya, Suraj Basaili, Suraj Jaigadi, Swaraj Adhikari, Tenzing Sherpa, Yahan Limbu, and Yuvraj Shahi.
General Secretary Karki, who is also an ISF executive member, informed that the final squad of 20 players for the ISF Football World Cup—scheduled to be held in China from October 17 to 26—will be selected from among these players.
