Kung Fu athlete Sarina Ghale wins gold medal at WMAC British Championships

LONDON:- Nepali Uma Kung Fu athlete Sarina Ghale has won gold at the WMAC British Championship. Sanjit Kumar Rai, President of the Nepal Uma Kung Fu Association, announced that Sarina secured the gold medal in the ‘Mixed Belt’ category (for athletes aged 18 and above) within the Women’s Creative Form event.

Sarina scored 22.9 points in the competition held in Worcester, UK. Her closest rival, Amelia Parkin from England, scored 22.8 points.

Sarina, who arrived in the UK about two years ago for her studies, has continued to pursue her sport alongside her academic work. She has completed a Master of Science degree in Digital Marketing. President Rai noted that she has participated in various races, including the London Marathon.

President Rai also stated that Sarina is preparing to compete in the WMAC World Championship 2026, scheduled to be held in Austria this September.
