House of Representatives meeting to be held today

KATHMANDU:-  The House of Representatives meeting is scheduled to be held at 11:00 am today.

According to the Federal Parliament Secretariat, the meeting is likely to include a proposal by Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation Khadak Raj Poudel to consider the ‘Tourism Bill, 2081’.

Also in the meeting, Minister for Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Sobita Gautam, on behalf of Prime Minister Balendra Shah, will present a proposal to send the ‘National Forensic Science Laboratory (Establishment and Operation) Bill, 2081 BS’ to the concerned committee for clause-wise discussion.

The Parliament Secretariat has stated that a proposal will also be presented in the meeting to discuss and pass the ‘Election of Members of the House of Representatives (First Amendment) Bill, 2083 BS’ and the ‘Voters’ Roll (First Amendment) Bill, 2083 BS’, clause-wise.
