We look forward to continuing our cooperation with Nepal : Secretary Rubio
KATHMANDU:- The United States has said it supports the Nepali people’s desire for a transparent government that abides by the constitution.
In a message issued on the occasion of Constitution Day, US Secretary of State Marco Rubio stated that the United States will support Nepal in promoting stability in South Asia and contributing to building a safe and stable world order.
The United States has stated that the people of Nepal deserve a hopeful future that advances economic growth, strengthens regional security, and promotes prosperity for all.
Secretary of State Marco Rubio said, ‘The Millennium Challenge Corporation Compact will support the expansion of Nepal’s transportation and energy infrastructure, create jobs, accelerate long-term economic growth, Strengthening the US-Nepal partnership and creating business opportunities for US companies.’
Secretary of State Rubio also expressed his condolences to the families of those who lost their lives in the protests.
