12 injured in Dhankuta bus accident

 
SUNSARI:- At least 12 people were injured when a passenger bus met an accident near Mulghat of Dhankuta Municipality. The bus was on the way to Dharan from a hilly district, Sankhuwasabha. 

The District Police Office, Dhankuta confirmed the bus accident, informing that it was ferrying 15 people. The bus overturned on the roadside on Friday afternoon, as the driver suddenly lost control. 

The accident led to the temporary disruption of the Dharan-Dhankuta Mulghat road. The road is now operational one way, said DPO’s Deputy Superintendent of Police, Hemant Bhandari. 

Among the injured ones, some have been admitted to local medical facilities while some have been taken to Dharan-based BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences, Dharan. (RSS)
