‘There is no fact or evidence that Nepal has encroached on Indian territory’

KATHMANDU:- CPN (UML) parliamentary party leader Ram Bahadur Thapa ‘Badal’ has said that there is no evidence that Nepal has encroached on Indian territory.

After Foreign Minister Shishir Khanal made a statement in today’s meeting of the House of Representatives, he stressed that the ruling and opposition parties should carefully consider the reality that Nepal has not encroached on any Indian territory. He said that they were not satisfied with the Foreign Minister’s response and would continue the struggle to protect their nationality in a different way.

Leader Thapa opined that the impasse would end if the Speaker removed such statements from the parliamentary records.
