RASWUWA:- Severe flooding in Rasuwa has caused significant damage in Syafrubesi, Timure and surrounding areas. Preliminary reports indicate that the floods have affected people, property and physical infrastructure.
Authorities have warned that the flood situation could worsen. Security agencies, district administration offices, local governments, disaster management agencies and other concerned bodies have been directed to remain on high alert and fully prepared for rescue and relief operations.
Residents living along riverbanks and in other high-risk areas of Rasuwa and Nuwakot have been urged to exercise extreme caution. Authorities have advised people to avoid unnecessary travel near rivers and landslide-prone areas and to follow safety instructions issued by local administrations and security agencies.
