15 injured in Tanahun bus accident, one in critical condition

TANAHUN:- Fifteen people were injured in a bus accident on the Damauli-Bhorletar inner road section at Kalesti Bridge in Byas Municipality-7, Tanahun, and the bus driver, Shamsher Pariyar, is in critical condition.

Other injured individuals include 60-year-old Shrimaya Pariyar from Byas Municipality-2; 60-year-old Chandramaya Gurung from Thumki-11; 47-year-old Anita Gurung and 49-year-old Bindu Gurung from Ward No. 2; 27-year-old Sujita Paudel from Ward No. 6; and—from Ward No. 1—8-year-old Sanvi Giri, 40-year-old Deepa Khan, 51-year-old Sita Nepali, 35-year-old Hira Malla, and 44-year-old Nunimaya Thapa.

Similarly, the others include 35-year-old Shanta Gautam from Madhyanepal Municipality-1, Lamjung; 32-year-old Nira Gautam and 29-year-old Susmita Shahi from Ward No. 4; and 50-year-old Swastikala Khanal from Rupa Rural Municipality-1, Kaski.

On Tuesday, a bus (registration number Ga 1 Kha 6465) lost control and crashed into a bridge over a river on the Damauli-Bhorletar inner road section at Kalesti Bridge in Byas Municipality-7, Tanahun. The bus was traveling from Kalesti towards Damauli.
