RSP General Convention: Voting for office bearers begins at 4 am
CHITWAN:- The schedule for the second phase of the election for the selection of office bearers under the first national convention of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) being held in Bharatpur, Chitwan has been made public. The Central Election Commission issued a notice late on Thursday night, setting out the various election procedures and voting times.
According to the public work schedule, the election process began at 11:40 pm on Thursday. Candidate nomination forms were distributed from 11:40 pm to 11:55 am, while the nomination registration period was from 11:55 am to 12:25 am on Friday.
Similarly, the commission has stated that the preliminary list of candidates will be published at 1 am, objections against candidates and withdrawal of candidacy will be accepted from 1:15 to 1:40 am, and preparations for the election and voting process will be made from 1:40 to 3 am.
According to the commission, the voting process will be conducted from 4 am to 10 am after the final list of candidates is published at 3:30 am. The commission has urged all representatives and stakeholders to participate with necessary preparations as per the stipulated schedule.
