Nepali Congress central members submit letter demanding date for general convention

KATHMANDU:- Twenty-five central members of the Nepali Congress have submitted a letter of appeal to the central office demanding a general convention before the elections.

On Friday, they reached the party central office in Sanepa and registered a letter of attention. Although they were told to submit the letter to acting president Purna Bahadur Khadka, the letter was registered at the party office after he was not present.

Those on the Sher Bahadur Deuba panel at the 14th General Convention have submitted a signed letter demanding that the general convention be held before the March, 5th, 2025 elections.

Twenty-five central members have registered a letter with their views on whether to hold a regular general convention or a special general convention in the Congress.
