PM Shah and RSP President Lamichhane meet to discuss growing criticism of the government

KATHMANDU:- Prime Minister Balendra Shah, currently facing criticism and pressure over the self-immolation incident and the issue of squatters, visited Budhanilkantha on Sunday morning to meet Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) Chairman Rabi Lamichhane.
According to sources, Prime Minister Shah and Chairman Lamichhane held discussions lasting more than four hours regarding recent developments.
Prime Minister Shah arrived at the Lamichhane residence in Budhanilkantha at 11:15 AM and left at 3:15 PM.
Sources indicate that they discussed matters including the self-immolation incident, the issue of squatters, and the nomination of party office-bearers.
They also conversed about the criticism and dissatisfaction regarding the government’s performance.
