NRNA establishes office in Lisbon, Portugal
LISABON:- The Non-Resident Nepali Association (NRNA) National Coordination Council Portugal has opened its office in the capital, Lisbon, with the aim of easily providing necessary information, services, support, and counseling to the Nepali community in Portugal.
NRNA Portugal has announced the opening of an office aimed at directly facilitating the resolution of issues and addressing the inquiries and needs of the rapidly growing Nepali community in Portugal. The office will provide assistance with documentation processes, institutional coordination, information dissemination, consultation, and various other services.
Sujan Lama Moktan, President of NRNA Portugal, stated that the need for an office was recognized to facilitate service delivery in an organized manner, taking into account the growing size and needs of the Nepali community. He explained that the objective is to develop the office into a common hub for Nepalis in Portugal and to effectively address the community’s issues and requirements.
Similarly, Suraj Bhandari, Secretary of NRNA Portugal, announced that the association has launched an official website alongside its office. He explained that the website allows users to access information regarding the association’s activities, notices, programs, and available services, as well as to submit inquiries and requests for assistance from the Nepali community.
A meeting held on the same occasion nominated Ganga Bahadur Nemkul as the Coordinator for Reconciliation and Senior Citizens’ Affairs for the Non-Resident Nepali Association (NRNA), Portugal.
