Nepali Judo Team Departs for Jordan

KATHMANDU:- The Nepali team participating in the Asian Cadet and Junior Judo Championships in Amman departed for Jordan on Monday.

Special Bik (Men’s Under-66kg) and Sabin Kumar Diyali (Men’s Under-60kg) will compete in the tournament, which is scheduled to take place from July 16 to 19.

Prakash Chandra Pandey, General Secretary of the Nepal Judo Association, is the team manager, while Kabiram Gharti Magar serves as the coach. Additionally, Deepak Harsha Bajracharya—President of the Judo Association and Education Director of the Judo Union of Asia (JUA)—has also traveled to Amman.

Sikka Suwal Shrestha, a member of the National Sports Council’s executive committee, bade farewell to the team during a program held on Monday.
