SAFF Women Club Championship: APF Nepal beats Karachi City FC 1-0

KATHMANDU:- The APF Club of Nepal secured their third win in the ongoing SAFF Women Club Championship by defeating Pakistan’s Karachi City FC 1-0 on Sunday. The match took place at the Football Stadium in Tripureshwor, Kathmandu.

Rasmi Kumari Ghising scored the lone and decisive goal in the 52nd minute, giving APF Club all three points. With this victory, APF Club now has seven points from three matches, while Bhutan’s Transport United has collected two points.

Earlier in the tournament, APF Club opened with a 4-0 win over Bangladesh’s Nasarin Sports Academy and played a goalless draw against Bhutan’s Transport United in their second match.

APF Club is scheduled to face India’s East Bengal next on December 17.
