Nepal tourism promotion program organized in Japan

KATHMANDU:- Nepal Tourism Board, Nepal Airlines Corporation and Pacific Asia Travel Association (PATA) Nepal Chapter have organized a tourism promotion event in Japan.

Nepal was promoted as a year-round tourist destination in Tokyo and Osaka, Japan from April 2 to 5. The Nepal Tourism Board has stated that the tourism promotion and BTU program will significantly contribute to direct dialogue, cooperation and expansion of business relations between Nepali and Japanese tourism entrepreneurs.

The program aims to promote Nepal as a major tourist destination and strengthen Nepal’s presence in the Japanese market. Addressing the program organized in Tokyo, Deputy Chief of the Nepali Embassy there, Harihar Kanta Poudel, said that such programs will play an important role in promoting Nepal’s tourism in the international market.

Ranu Shah, Senior Manager, Nepal Tourism Board, gave a presentation on Nepal’s cultural heritage, famous destinations, adventure tourism, and wellness experiences. In the presentation, she highlighted Nepal as a safe, distinctive, and year-round destination.

Nepal Airlines Corporation (NAC) presented updated information on the Japan-Nepal flight network and informed about the expansion of Japan’s air connectivity with Nepal. Tour operators, travel agencies and media personnel from Japan participated in the program. The businessmen expect that the board’s initiative will further strengthen the expansion of Nepal’s tourism market, strengthen international partnerships and establish Nepal as a primary destination for Japanese tourists.
