Nepal Telecom’s Trishuli III-A site back in operation

KATHMANDU:- Nepal Telecom has brought its service back into operation through the tower located next to the Trishuli III-A Hydropower Project in Rasuwa.

This will further facilitate the communications required for the rescue work underway in the tunnel of the hydropower project. The generator and fuel required for the tower operation were transported to the tower by vehicle and by human porters.

Similarly, Tupche BTS tower in Rasuwa district has also come into operation from today. After taking a generator and fuel required for the tower operation, technicians reached the site from Trishuli by helicopter and operated the tower into service.

As a result, telephone service has been resumed from the site in the vicinity of the Trishuli III-B project site, Betrawati and some parts of Kalikasthan.
