Mayor Balendra Shah announces his formal entry into party politics

KATHMANDU:- Kathmandu Metropolitan City Mayor Balendra Shah (Balen) has urged Genji leaders to cooperate, stating that he has entered party politics.

He said this to the Genjis during a discussion held at the house of his associate Kumar Ben in Jwagal, Lalitpur on Thursday. Mayor Shah said this while talking for a while with the team led by Genji leader Raksha Bam.

According to Gen Z leader Yujanraj Bhandari, Mayor Shah has also urged all Gen Z’s to come together. “I came into party politics. Now let’s collaborate. All Genjis should come together,” he said, quoting Mayor Shah’s statement.

Mayor Shah has been continuously holding political dialogues. Today alone, he has held discussions with leaders of other parties and outgoing MPs, starting with RSP President Rabi Lamichhane. Former Prime Minister Baburam Bhattarai has also reached Balen to meet him.
